WorkTech Enhances Functionality in WorkTech Time 4.0 for IBM Maximo Software Reduces Costs and Increases Efficiency for Maximo Customers

SOMERVILLE, MASS. -- Work Technology Corporation Today announced rich feature enhancements to its WorkTech Time, time and attendance software product that is hightly integrated with IBM Software's MAXIMO. WorkTech Time 4.0 offers greater ease-of-use, provides information and reports that help managers and supervisors more easily meet their business goals, and makes important payroll and HR information readily available to workers and supervisors both on-site and off.

With WorkTech 4.0, Web data entry has been extended to include the supervisory functions to review worker time sheets and approve time worked. Supervisors can review any level of detail, allowing them to approve by any combination of day, project, location, or work order. They can send questions regarding any entry back to the worker and approve the rest of the time sheet.

Release 4.0 of WorkTech Time includes an updated user interface that consolidates all product modules and places information and actions within single screens that can be customized on a user-by-user basis to include only what each individual needs to best do his or her job. The individual user screen can be filtered by project, work order, contract, or shift.

Leave Time, the module that manages the request, approval, and logging of leave, offers an improved interface for users to review leave requests in the context of work schedules, time worked, and work planned. Leave Time is configured to ensure leave requests comply with your leave policies and users can also review the corporate leave policy documents that are implemented into the Leave Time business rules. Supervisors benefit from the ability to review vacation and holidays in the context of staff availability during any specified time frame so they understand their net resources. They can drill down to view the schedules of individuals or groups for which they are responsible. When this information is easier to access, supervisors and workers can plan better and with less effort. All labor data, associations, and changes are captured for potential future audit and compliance with mandates such as Sarbanes-Oxley.

WorkTech has distilled WorkTech Time implementation experience into a set of actionable, standard reports that will help organizations better manage to their KPIs (key performance indicators). Reports include: Cost by Work Order, Daily Cost Summary, Time Sheet/Gate Discrepancy Report, Labor Hours, and Rate Report, Attendance Exception Report, Unapproved Pay Records Report, Holiday Worked Report, Leave Detail Report, Leave Balances Report, Overtime Report, and Special Compensation Report.
