Standards-Based Design Protects Your Investment
dbNews is built on both SMTP and POP3/IMAP4, so it works with nearly all e-mail servers. It is also fully compliant with SQL and works with the world's leading database servers, using direct native connectivity. Built to grow with you, dbNews can build and send up to 20,000 messages per hour per dbNews Server engine, over 64 concurrent SMTP sessions. It's fully scalable and is fault-tolerant with built-in message queues and configurable transmission and recovery options.
If your organization uses a leading database server such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQLBase, Informix, Sybase, or DB2, Interbase, MySQL, or other leading databases and you can receive internet email, then dbNews is right for you.
